I took the engine cover off and couldn't see anywhere to clip the jump lead onto.

Does anyone know if this strap can be seen from under the car if I crawl underneath?

I have now found that the earth strap is broken, but posted it on the other thread.

I've had to cancel my skip being collected today now, and am hoping Guy Salmon in Portsmouth can get me a new cable for tomorrow morning. Just hanging on for them on the phone at the moment.

I'll make up a temp wire to the lifting bracket you used just to move the car, then hopefully fit a new cable tomorrow afternoon.

I have yet to the fit cable it is one of those jobs I have yet to get round to Whistle
