forgot all about it and have the kids tonight so stopped at supermarket and grabbed the 'ready made' ones. Just noticed though that despite looking like pancakes they are actually "North Staffs Oatcakes" - WTF!!!!! Never heard of these before. Just tried one with lemon and syrup and..............it don't taste like a pancake should
Back to the shops it is then.....

Bodsy, I generally do all my own cooking 'from scratch' but have found the ready-made pancakes are better, simple as that and the kids love 'em, no 'skill deficiency' on my behalf

Only joshing buddy, I think we use it as an excuse to get pancake mix everywhere & trying to find out how many of the pancakes going up, actually come down! Bodsys Brake Bible

You cant whack a home cooked pancake filled with Nutella choc spread. I have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!

I'm usually a lemon and sugar man but this year tried maple syrup and cream - yummy! Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Happy day 8)ALTERNATIVES...............No alternatives for off-road capability.
If you want Surrey plush, go for a Range Rover. If you want Manchester bling it's the Range Rover Sport. But if it's a seven-seat, go anywhere 4x4, it's time to Disco.
