It replaces the old LR GTR - Global Technical Reference i.e. on-line workshop manuals as accessed by dealers and anyone else who pays for access to it.

As a private user, you not have to pay, just register. Gives you a limited amount of access to info on your vehicle (identified by VIN), for example I can see what options were factory installed, build date, license date, etc

Not sure - I could also only pick up a full list for my new vehicle, & a limited amount on my existing (older) model.
Maybe it only has proper info on later models?
