To quickly add the name of a sender to your Contacts list, do the following:

In an open message, right-click the name that appears on the From line, and then click Add to Outlook Contacts on the shortcut menu.

This adds the person's name and e-mail address to your contacts

Not sure why you need this to be honest. Outlook will cache addresses anyway so recently recieved email address can be used just by starting to type the names. You can save an email address easily if you want to by right clicking on it. If you auto store all addresses then you contacts list will soon be big with useless addresses and it will be hard to find the addresses that you actually want.

I'm sure you can write a rule for it though, or if not a script that is triggered by a rule, there will be info on this on tinternet.

Stu, yes it does cache them but if I want to send a blanket email to everyone or quite a few I have t think of their names.

Be easier to be able to add them auto when I reply to a mail - just like in the olden days Shocked

You'll still have to think of their names, because there will be sooooooo many addresses in your outlook it will take too long to scroll through! Rolling with laughter

Seriously though you'll find the answer online. I could do it for you, but you can't afford my hourly rate!

Type in the first few letters then press CTRL K, it will go look it up in your nick list (this is populated on the fly so on a new install will be empty)if its doesn't find it it will then go and look in your contacts.

Article below details how to reset the nick file.
