Millennium Jaguar Land Rover Specialists - Croydon
I recently had the second service undertaken by Land Rover main dealers on my October 2015 Discovery 4 SE Tech,it cost me what I consider to be an extortionate amount, i.e. a couple of quid short of £800, for a straightforward service and parts, no warranty or additional work undertaken.
A few days ago I received a brochure from a company called Millennium in Croydon who state they are Jaguar/Land Rover specialists, their price list for a second service on Discovery 4 Diesel is £369 including parts, labour and vat, i.e. half the price of the main dealer.
My question is, has anybody used them and what are they like to deal with?

Re main stealer price of £800, did you agree a price before starting or just pay whatever they wanted? 10 minutes on the phone will give you enough ammo to say "Price match xxxxxxx at £### please".

Thanks for the replies and link to previous post. The price was what was quoted when I booked the service on the website (Harwoods Croydon), where I bought the car. As the car is still under warranty I thought I had to use a main dealer and assumed the price would be the same or similar at them all. The enquiry about Millennium was looking towards future services.
Next year for the final service under warranty I will get other quotes and try to get them to price match or go elsewhere.
Does anyone have any recommendations of places to service my car in the North-East Surrey area or nearby?

Its a shame that Harwoods have swallowed up so many dealers in SE/Kent (Testers, Hunt Grange)
To be honest after trying most of the main dealers in Kent, the only one I'd go back to is Barretts, but I'm guessing its too far for you.
You could try AHL Engineering, again Kent, not used them, but I've heard good things about them.1970 RRC
