Mobile Phone Query

Could anybody please tell me if they get a ring tone for incoming calls ? Mine just displays a message on the main screen but no ringing and the radio doesn't mute - not surprising since the call isn't active until I answer it. I've been lucky in that I saw the message but a traditional ringing noise would be a nice touch Whistle

I'm using an iPhone 3G and it's paired okay, phonebook transferred and full call lists and other functions are fine. There's nothing specific in the manual on this and I couldn't find anything relevant elsewhere. 2010 MX-5 2.0 Sport Tech PRHT

Arghhhhh, it's now driving me nuts. Tried all the usual suspects i.e. press and hold the tone key etc but just can't get the blasted phone to ring Big Cry Big Cry 2010 MX-5 2.0 Sport Tech PRHT

Our Iphone / D4 combination works slightly erratically. It does ring as it should but when answered there is sometimes no incoming sound. The person calling can hear people in the car but not the other way. It is one of those annoying foibles that we have meant to investigate further but 1 year later have still not got around to it. Disco 4 TDV6HSE

My Vin is 56xxxx - it was only built this month so I'm hoping all the relevant patches were applied by the factory or dealer prior to delivery. 2010 MX-5 2.0 Sport Tech PRHT

I have an iPhone 3GS and it works just fine. It might be worth checking that you haven't done/changed any of the settings with the ring tones on the phone. If you've got a custom ring tone it might not work.
