I stand to be corrected but the engines with stop start also have the adblu and it’s this combination which brings down the co2 emissions from 213 to 203 (euro 5 to euro 6) and this in turn brings down the tax band, apart from that I am sure it’s the same 3.0 ltr engine and 8 speed automatic box the earlier models up to around 2009 had a 2.7 ltr engine

^ yes not that clear cut - and this may not be 100% correct but its nearer the facts
63 Plate before MY14 facelift non start stop £500+ tax Euro engine n
MY14 Start Stop - lower tax £200+ and Euro Engine n+1
MY16 Start Stop + Adblue - same lower tax but Euro Engine n+2 *think this one is Euro6 ...

Are these from dealers or private?
paid 24k private for a 14 XS on 45k miles, 1 owner full service and some extras.
£27k for a vehicle which makes you feel sick is too much.
I wouldn't buy one with a leaking box either, there's loads about, don't compromise, buy a good one 2014 D4 XS

You can get rid of the pet smell by treating the car with ozone - have a pro do it as the machines aren’t exactly cheap. The dog hairs can be vacuumed. It’s just a hell of a job to do it but it’s doable in a day or so.
And yeah, I’d stay away from a leaking gear box just like James said.
I think it’s a buyer’s market in the UK for D4s - don’t buy the first one you find. There seemed to be plenty for sale on autotrader.co.uk.

Ozone treatment really removes the smell quite well. It’s used to eradicate the smell of dead bodies in apartments for example... Look it up if you’re dubious

yep well done ive allways told people to steer clear but I thought I would have a look, hear what your saying regarding getting a deal but left it with them so I will see what happens
keep getting told theres lots out there take your time to find the right one but all the good ones are so over priced I cant justify spending 35 plus to get something that's not 35g better than my disco 3
looked at a 14 plate xs few days ago mega miles but great car for 16999 only put off by the radio having no reception wasn't prepared to gamble on it being a simple/nightmare repair can fix most things but lectrics na please excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick, thankyou
