That's my best shot at trying to offend you!!!
Not seen you on Wigan lane for a while, although I have been in my wife's Freelander quite a bit lately and I tend to wear a disguise so no-one sees me!

I personally have nothing but the greatest praise for Martin and all the Mods here.
I know i am not everyone's cup of tea, with a self pompous attitude, an ego the size of Texas, and a penchant for flowery and lengthy posts, but no one is perfect huh.
However, we at Blackbox Solutions do make what no one else can or will, and this, as even the average everyday enthusiast and owner has seen and noted, has proven its worth again and again, and has ultimately benefited countless members of the D3 owning community in one way or another, and now even offers the same for D4. However for whatever reason, i have had repeated attempts to bully me, goad me and undermine me and my efforts.
As a direct result of this, I did once actually consider packing it in altogether on this board and concentrating my efforts elsewhere.
However the prompt action of Martin and all the Mods to recognize and help stamp that kind of cr@p out, has earned my respect and ensured my long term commitment to this board and the D3 community as a whole, and has instigated a resolve in me to participate in and contribute on the board as best i possibly can.
So i personally intend to be here for a very long time, and although i do still get the odd snidy comment here and there, such things now actually makes me even more determined than ever to carry on doing what i do all the more.
So I for one stand in nothing less than total appreciation and support of Martin and all the Mods without whoum things might have been very different.
So if i never said it before, I really do owe you all a big thanks for allowing me to just get on with do what we do best for the better benefit of everyone.
Every single "thanks for enabling my 4x4 info" or similar post would probably not exist without your help and effort, So Thanks Guys
Keep up the good work, just as i will

Whats wrong with Mercs DiscoCussy, i happen to own a Merc too.
IMHO they are impartial and not open to question, take them on and its "see you in 2 weeks".
Carry on with that attitude and you'll go far The End

Never could understand this interest in cricket...
This forum is a beacon of bonhomie, wit and information. There is not one other which I could be bothered with except perhaps for specific information on one problem with one device/machine/vehicle/organisation.
Percentage-wise (yuch! did I really type that) the number of upsetting posts and posters is really low. Usually, I find I actually like the folk at both sides of the argument - usually for different reasons. That makes it all the more sad when eruptions occur.
As a Radio Amateur I was taught long ago never to be offended or angry at ANY transmission - chances are that one of you has it wrong for the moment and the dust should be allowed to settle before replying. Being offended is not something someone does to YOU, it is a posture YOU take up at your choice; it is just as easy not to take it up...
Lesson over, time for tea...2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods
