| Modification for tow electric cover buttons |

As you know I am technically challenged when it comes to confusers. However, if you look in my gallery - BN (have mastered that) I have placed a picture of the 'turnbuttons' that lock the tow electrics cover on.
I became so frustrated with the stupidity of having to find a penny (and no doubt the penny will go soon) to unlock and fiddle with the buttons, which were becoming damaged anyway, this is what I came up with.
May be silly, but for me it works and it is so easy, why oh why did LR not do something like it 
It is simply a 2mm piece of plastic superglued into the slot of the buttons.

I quite agree, it shows the market the car is aimed at I suppose!
Towing, no nobody will want to do that, hide every thing behind cheep bits of plastic! Should some odd person want to tow they can remove it!
I have to admit I'm tending to leave my hitch in & the panel out!

Ho & anther thing, the wife was backing out of a very steep drive the other day & could hear a grinding sound!!
Stooped the car got out to see what was going on, only to find the tow hitch plowing up the drive 
Being a sensible sort of girlie she got back in & raised the car up to drive out! Range Rover Sport Estate 2.0 P400e Hse Dynamic Black

The plastic will be black next time, this was an experiment. Re the plough, good aren't they. Is your tow bracket the hook or like mine a real plough.

I have the heavy duty which is always in place, looks awful, but does the job. Effects the off road rear clearance dramatically.

hi i found that using a fifty pence piece with its flat edges dose the trick very well  disco1 and disco3 who could ask for more?

Being royalty I never carry money, so it is difficult to get the cover off, hence the idea, works well.

But surely one of your minders would assist you anyway ? Else you'd get your hands dirty and possibly be accused of working more than your allotted 1 day per week

Was trying to build up BN's rep and make him sound as hard working as us normal folk... but now they all know he is above all this and only 'appears' to be as hard working as us all...
