Bum.
Some knob-end knocked the glass out of my door mirror today in a car park and didn't stop or leave a note. I guess it was walked into as opposed to hit by another vehicle as there is no other damage.
They managed to break off the little lugs holding the mirror on, which look like they are really fragile so I will need to guy a new piece of glass, or perform the mother of all bodges with way too much araldite. It was only the wires for the heater element holding off the ground.
I guess there is an upside - I now know that I have heated mirrors...
Of course I'm going away for 3 days tomorrow and have to leave before the dealer opens. I hate public car parks. Bet this damage would have paid for a few weeks of taxi trips as well...
Rant finished. For now.
