I've just completed the England/Scotland/Wales section of our company's annual road show tour. In short, we have an exhibition and stand that we transport around the country in the back of, and on on top of my D3, and we set up shows at various venues to meet customers and hopefully do some business.
This year it has really tested the load capacity of the D3, and at times I thought we were not going fit the load in. We started in Aberdeen, then over the past few weeks have done shows at Glenbervie (Falkirk), Glasgow, Eaglescliffe (Durham), Otley (Leeds), Hazel Grove (Stockport), Conwy (Wales), Cosby (Leicester), Malvern (Worcs), Ely (Cambridge), Tiverton (Devon), Radyr (Wales), Kings Norton (Birmingham).
Its been really busy, got lots of potential business, and ultimately was really glad to get home last night knowing that there are no more shows until after christmas.
The only down side is that my D3 was not entirely well behaved. I parked on a steep slope at one of the golf clubs, with the heavy load in the back, and applied the park brake. As the car settled onto the pb, it let go a particularly loud screamer - the group who were putting out on the 18th green were not happy at all
There was no way it was going to release, I tried all the tricks in the book, but it really was locked solid. Even the manual release was jammed.
I was short of time, so called LRA, who arrived very quickly, and left them to it. Upshot is, I have a disconnected EPB, and the fuse is sitting in the cup holder.
Hey ho- back to reality, back at my desk, and like the old one, the new D3 still has EPB issues 8)

Wondered where you got to Gareth?
That looks like one heck of a schedule.
Pity about the epb issue!
I've been out of the habit of using mine for the last couple of years.
Bet it's good to get the feet up on the desk now.

you'll be filling in a Vosa report then..... I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
