Mortimer and Whitehouse - Great viewing!

Just watched their Xmas special... similar to many of us here of a certain age, both are aware of their mortality and this programme was outstanding, funny , touching and very very good entertainment...

Even if your not a fisherman the conversations on the riverbank are both humorous and thought provoking..

Watch it on catch up....certainly one of the best programmes produced in recent months... Very Happy

I watched it and thought it was great. Whether all the surprises were staged or not it was still very touching. Plus I quite like the stupid conversations.

Absolutely loved the whole series. And I have no interest in fishing!

Correction, 'had no interest in fishing'. Watching it makes me wish I had someone like Paul Whitehouse willing to show me the ropes and laugh at my ineptitude.

I watched with my missus, and she commented about how enjoyable it was just watching two blokes fishing, even if you wernt into fishing. It was just the conversation that made it.

My Wife and I both enjoyed it. We find Bob Mortimer particularly funny, especially in Would I Lie to You.
