MOT Fail - Rear brake pipe over diff leaking

Doh, the big red bus just failed it's MOT on leaking rear brake pipe over the diff (to be fair, has been an advisory for a while) Big Cry Big Cry

At least it's not a diff leak like I first thought Smile

How difficult is it to replace the two rear cross pipes with the "Service Repair" ones from AF?
What other bits do I need to get from AF whilst I'm at it?

No prizes for guessing what I'm doing this weekend Rolling Eyes

You need a flaring tool that can be used on the vehicle, and splice into the pipes under the passenger footwell above the heat shield that is there and run the two pipes back mounting them on the original mounts. You may also find you need to replace the two shorter lengths on the top of rear upper wishbones. So tool. Inline unions x 2 , some fittings in case the old ones are beyond re- use, brake fluid and some patience.

Thanks sputnixb51, all available (apart from the patience) from AF so I'll get the credit card out...

Thumbs Up Exactly as Sputnix says above, its imperative the flaring tool you use is capable of gripping and flaring the cars original steel pipe - cheaper ones just won't cut it Thumbs Up

I didn't get the flaring tool from AF (though I did get everything else from him) due to the feedback from many forums of that type of tool.

I got this type, which had great feedback and worked really well joining onto the original steel pipes under the car, while on the driveway.
