MOT failed!!
Just had stratstone on the phone the disco failed the mot on rear bushes on suspension, front brakes binding on, rear tyre inner edge worn, It's in for a service mot and aircon recharge, at a cost of £460 I can see a £1000 bill in my direction
Any thoughts or donations lol

Thoughts.......yeah, thinking about my bill when it goes in for a service in 2 weeks
Mine's going into Beadles - they quoted £460 for service, I asked about allegience discout, they said "Am I on the scheme?" - "No" I replied "I've never been invited". I am now - Free MOT & 10% off parts.
Would never have asked if not for all you clever chaps

Well that is beyond me,when I take my car in for its service,60K and MOT as I did today to my regular Land Rover Independent who have looked after it from new, £270 for service and they only take it for an MOT if they know or are fairly certain being Land Rover mechanics that it will pass, if it needs work I get a phone call, that then goes ahead and then they take it for the MOT. How can Stratstone send a car in after a service and it fails on bushes and brakes and tyre wear, it beggars believe. Please don't tell me they take it for the MOT first

I was told the DOT like them to be MOTed first so they get true numbers of the condition of cars on the road, but in "my opinion" its a way the dealer has you over a barrel to get the work done!

TFC does do timing belts - but maybe not in Norway.
Anyway we need him too much here in the UK to let him travel too far!
