MOT Failed due to Electronic Warning Amber light! |
|
A clown just failed my MOT due to electric stability showing warning amber lights and I remember doing the MOT through same garage with same issue last year.
I have to resolve my suspension fault ASAP within 14 days.
Just wondering if anyone have experienced this.

I seem to recall some states in the USA (California?) you have to have an OBD code check before going for your physical MOT. All codes must be cleared down or readily explained.
BMW owners trying to 'frig' the environmental air pumps and the likes (I know this by looking at the E36 M3 owners forums). Quite often you can buy little electronic widgets to plug into the wiring (replacing what it is you have taken away) so the code does not appear.
You'd gamble code reading will be along in the UK in the not too distant future.
More expense "Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"
Current Ride: D4 XS Commercial Baltic Blue SDV6 fully loaded with heated everything
Track Days: BMW E36 M3 Evolution MY 1996 (3.2 Litre 377 BHP sat in 1,250 Kgs of car, with a pro safety cage and some serious braking power)

Thanks DM. I was once advised that some comments are better ignored than acknowledged or answered.
As reasonably noted by someone else; could be due to tougher MOT regime this year as LR dealer passed the vehicle with same issue in the past. It's been a lingering issue to be honest. Think its about time I had it finally resolved.
