Motul motyl gear oil for diffs

Hi all,

Looking at changing diff oils front and rear (don’t have locking diff)

I see on the Opie oils site they have motul moytl gear for a good price (even better with the site discount).

The oil states it’s good for older cars

Has anyone used this oil is it ok for D3 diffs ?

As always thanks

I use Smith & Allan fully synthetic 75w90 which meets the GL-5 spec as specified by LR.

£12.84 for 5 litres.

https://www.smithandallan.com/products/tra...fs-75w-90/

0.6 litres in the front diff, 1.1 litres in the rear (non-locking).

I think any 75W-90 API GL-5 oil can be used for the differentials. Myself, I used some domestic manufacturer’s hypoid oil as it was readily available.
