MTR's for 19" wheels

Have been watching this board for awhile and this is my first post. Love the vehicle so far. Only problem is the tyres. Stock Wranglers just dont cut it as you all know. Unfortunatly this is the most aggressive tread pattern available in the US for the 19" wheels. Have any of you used the MTR's in the 255/50 R19 and have any feedback. Ulitmately I am looking to find a way to import some. Looking for a little help thanks.

The MTRs are available over here but not very common. AndrewS is the only site member I can think of that uses them, he's away off roading this weekend with a bunch of us and I suspect he's set off already. No doubt he'll give you some feedback when he gets back but from what I've seen of them in action they perform very well

Si

Ps. Welcome to DISCO3 Thumbs Up

I know a few people with them here, imported for significant cost. Excellent tire for off-road.

Try these UK shops and ask them how much it would be to ship to North America:

thanks for those sites. Looks like having someone export them for me is gonna be the only option. Yeah costly I know, but the truck absolutely will not perform in the slimey sticky clay we have locally on the stock tyres. Anyone know of countries other than the UK where they are available?? Might be less heavily taxed elsewhere, or does the cost of the tyre have nothing to do with your tax structure? Please excuse my ignorance on that issue.

The MTR’s are very good off road, a bit noisy on road. You should get about 38,000 miles out of a set.
In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
