Mud flaps riped off
Hi all,
We got a set of series mudflaps for dad D4 before we went away. While away we fitted them to the car, they were fine and all short trips etc But 50 miles into the trip home, the rear ones were folded up against the tyre and slowly shredding and the other was just as bad
The thing we don't understand is that we followed all the instructions given by others that have fitted them before, (Mr H etc...) But as far as i know no others forum members have had the problem we had!
does anyone know why this is and what can be done if and when we get some more to replace them, to avoid it happening again

Initial thoughts are they are too "long" resulting in them fouling the tyres
Also a bit difficult to tell from a photo obviously, but they look more flexible than mine
Will measure the drop of mine tomorrow "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Not too big,too much of a drop from the sill to the bottom edge....
As I said just a thought, will measure mine tomorrow and see if it helps"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...
