Multi height towbar question

Ok o wise ones Very Happy does anyone know the reasons as to why you're not supposed to put a combi ball and pin hitch on the very to setting??

I'm guessing its because the tow ball is too high and puts added strain on the plate.

Just a guess ....

see no reason, mines done 360k miles with one put on by The Highway Agency and I tow all day long Thumbs Up

Cool thanks for that my last one did a whack of miles wth it on the top setting without me even realising Laughing thought I'd ask the audience if theres any serious reason why not!
