MY12 Parking Aid Bleeper Volume

Is there any way to turn the volume down on the Park Assist bleepers?

Rear passengers get deafened and it's not much quieter in the front seats. My old D4 was much quieter.

Yes there is. But I can't now remember how. Embarassed

ISTR its in "Setup" and "volumes" and its the "WARNINGS headed section.

Think it might be a RTFM job Bill. Laughing

OK, I got curious and put the Laphroig down and went out in the dark and cold and looked:

Proceed as follows:
SETUP then SYSTEM then VOLUME PRESETS then PARKING AIDS and TOOGLE to your hearts content.

Hope that helps.

Is there anyway to over ride the fact that the fronts go off as soon as you drive off?

SWMBO almost hits our wall when driving in as she is so used to them being on on the D3 - I cant get it into her head she has to press a button when coming in to park

I liked the D3 when they were on all the time.

My rears seem to stay on all the time though

Re volume on proximities..... just turn the stereo volume up or down when sensors are going.... Quad erat demonstrandum
 Near enough 40 degrees South!!!

Reverse volume

When the bleeper is on, use the stereo volume to change the setting to what you want. I found it by mistake but mine was getting on my tits so it was a good accidental find without having to get the instructions out.
