I am comfortable with the locking process and habit of checking mirrors folding and indicators flashing ... Mrs. DG moans that she can't get in if I'm not very close to the motor ....so moaning = something is doing it's job

The manual states that in some markets it will chirp on single or double locking...maybe this can be activated via Faultmate or similar device ?? 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I get two noticeable chirps, although first time it happened I spent an age trying to find out what the chirps were

Mine only chirps when I try to lock it by pressing the door button, and I haven't got the key on me.

Getting it wrong usually makes me RTFM
...my lord ...I can't be a man ...I've not only suggested that I read the manual but that I also get things wrong I must be a lesbian trapped inside a man's body
Mine chirps to say a door is still open , I've left the key inside, I don't have the key on me 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Thinking about it ...if it currently chirps when something is not right...like a door being open or the key not being present ...then wouldn't having a chirp also to say it is locked confuse matters 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

The only time mine chirps is if one of the doors isn't closed properly or the key is out of range of the sensor (or when it is blocked by having a mobile phone in the same pocket) Cheers Ian
