Hi guys,
Sorry if this has been posted before.
Currently have a 2012 D4 SDV6 and i would like to give it a facelift.
done a couple of facelifts to my previous L322, and they involved quite a bit of work to complete, so id like to think im not a total noob when it comes to modding!
i would like to install the latest D4 2014 onwards front end to my 2012 model, most importantly the updated xenon headlight with the LED DRL.
i understand that the lights and new grille can be swapped without the need for the later bumper with just a small gap left under ?
Also regarding the lights, my current Xenon / LED fairy lights are non adaptive, i am able to purchase new 2014 onward adaptive models and install them ? can the adaptive feature be enabled via the CCF or is there more to it ... ie the car requires extra ECU's... etc. ?
lastly, i understand that a relay mod is required for the full beam, but i would just like to confirm, will the DLR work correctly by just updating the CCF ? are no wiring modifications required to get them to work ? without the rear tail lights on during the day if DLR function is enabled ?
