My2011 D4 with basic radio no sat nav

Got the small screen with no sat nav and on the stereo menu it has a aux input? Can this be used to connect in a iPod? If not can the stereo be upgraded I'm not worried about sat nav but would like to connect iPod in for playing music.

Unfortunately No and it’s ridiculous that the D4 doesn’t have an iPod connector!! I use a Belkin TuneCast Auto which is a lot cheaper that replacing the stereo.

Hello.
There is an input in the rear of the centre console for a jack input. all you need is a jack to jack input. also if you have bluetooth fitted. i run my ipod through this as i can control it through the buttons on the wheel. there is also a cig socket in the rear of the centre console. i use this for charging my ipod SSDD.

You don't need to remove the consol out, just lift the flap up above the pullout cup older.

Hi - I use a cable like this one:

with a 12v USB power source, to charge/play music from my iPhone 4. The volume is a bit low compared to others, but apart from that, works fine.
