Nanocom Timed Climate Settings

Hi Guys,

I've had my D4 a few weeks now and now have my D4 license for my nanocom evolution and i'm looking to enable timed climate without remote.

Im currently looking through the CCF config on the Genisis website and these are the settings I see

Under Heating and Ventilation
Additional Heater - Fuel fired heater (FFH) change to Fuel Fired Parking Heater (FFPH)
Callstart of Parking Heater - "Without Callstart" change to "Callstart via Radio"
Park Heater - "Not Fitted" change to "Fitted"

but for the life of me i can't find A "Timed Climate" setting that has been mentioned in other posts.

Can anyone point my in the right direction??

Many Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Lee

Hi Geoff,

I was reading this thread and it referred to setting timed climate to "enable" but can't find the setting within the CCF file.

I'm hoping to enable Timed Climate on mine tomorrow - just controlled on screen and no remote. Looking through this thread I see stenh02 mentions these 3 settings....

I thought there were three settings to change to get the Timed climate working with the IIDTool

"Timed Climate" to "Enabled"
"Fuel Burning Heater" to "Fitted Parking Heat"
"FBH Call Start" to "Fitted Radio"

Obviously this is without the remote.

then Wiggs mentions another setting....

There is normally 3 settings to change

Last one is .. Additional heater .. FFPH

So do I need to modify 4 settings or 3, and where do I find them in the CCF? Only had the tool (non BT) a day, so just getting the hang of it, but really pleased to be able to communicate with my vehicle at last Very Happy

Thanks Thumbs Up

Cheers

Thanks Geoff,

I've got the editor set to Advance mode and under heating and ventilation it only goes as far as Smog Sensor and Sun Sensor, end of page.

I can't see "timed climate" anywhere Big Cry

Hi all.
I know this is an old thread but help. I managed to activate the timed heater then did some thing else and it fell off.
Can some one help me with what I need to activate on the nanocom to get the timed heater? ?
Thank you! !

I know the thread is old but I have the same problem using CCF editor and Nnocom. Where is the "Timed Climate" setting?

Yes, thanks, I gat that far, but there are only two settings in there ("parking heat" and "call Radio") as described by the original poster above. All the forum posts suggest there are three settings. and the third one, "Timed Climate" is missing in that CCF. My VIN is SALLAAAG5FA743276 a 2014 disco 4 SE
Is this vehicle different from other models and perhaps does not have Timed Climate?

Hi, only just seen this.

I got these setting from Geoff

"Additional Heater Fuel fired parking heater (FFPH)

Auxiliary Fuel Burning Heater Fitted

Park Heater Fitted

this is what you need to change , don't worry about the call by radio unless your fitting a remote receiver

Geoff"

Hope this helps.

BTW, this is using the nanocom evolution, so descriptions may differ with other equipment.

Lee

Thanks a lot Lee, that clarifies it. So there is a difference from the settings of earlier posts but there are still three settings. I presume that this enabled the Disco display to show timed operation of the heater.
