Navigation Screen

Is it possible to dim the brightness level of the central nav. screen or even turn it off when not required?

You can turn it off, Settings - Screen Off as far as I remember and there may be a brightness option in there somewhere. When you've got the headlights on the brightness adjusts along with the dash brightness

The brightness can be adjusted too - with 2 presets that you can quickly switch between. Accessed from the navigation setup menu.
