Nearly 60 days of ownership - Worst quality ever (again).
So after buying the Disco last month (yes LAST MONTH) i've already had the following replaced:
New air compressor
New ride height sensors
New relays
New front suspension strut
2 new parking sensors
Rear third wiring loom
Then 1500 miles later the ride height sensors needed replacing (all of them)
Now 140 miles later i am getting "Tranmission Fault" and "Park Brake Fault"
Park Brake Fault
Transmission Fault
Special Programs Off
Video:
All this and i bought the car in June THIS YEAR - LAST MONTH!!!
I can safely say that this is the worst quality car i've ever owned, and i've owned Defenders!
This Discovery is even worse than the previous Discovery 3 i had last year.
Absolutely gutted and MASSIVELY disappointed. I don't really know where to go from here.

I'm not sure how I go about doing that. I bought it on the 2nd of June but used my car as a part exchange.
I guess if they haven't sold my car I could get it back.
How do i go about rejecting the car? Can I still do this?

Thanks John - I've just taken a look. I guess i'll have to start down this road. Looks expensive though. Being self employed this is all time that i can ill afford to lose.

Have a look around on here - couple of recent posts from people who have done it, and some good advice. Your above issues may be simple to fix though... 2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +

Wow thats a fair list, I'm not surprised you're not happy that's exceptionally unfortunate.
I've been lucky thus far with only a few minor works needing done and most down to understandable wear and tear.
Good luck with rejecting it I don't see why you won't be able to sucessfully reject the car, thats more than just a few minor niggles you've had.
Hope you get it sorted

Not maintained by previous owner I would think.
All replaced under warranty I assume.
Most should have been fixed prior to delivery so dealers reponsibility.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Dealers seem to have a habit of doing bare minimum before the sale and then fixing the bits that break during warranty. I recon mine had £2500 spent on it in the 15months of warranty that I had.Mark.

I have a Disco 3 2.7S manual and had a number of faults like the transmission and park brake fault show up. Cured it all by replacing the battery. So much goes through the computers that when the battery voltage drops when its cold outside or the battery is old it throws up a number of faults as the ECU like most computers doesn't work correctly with the the wrong voltage.Apart from a couple of walls and some roads what did the Romas actualy do for us?

I know the feeling. I've bought my first Disco 3 last month (my first Land Rover ever to boot), and I've only just got it back yesterday after having its new engine fitted after a con rod decided to exit the engine rather hastily!
Driving it today, the amber suspension warning light came on. Back to the dealer next week!
I hope that you mange to get things sorted either way. The battery replacement idea from abz_gwf sounds like a good starting point though. I've heard elsewhere that it can cure a few gremlins.
That all depends on him (we asssume its a him) having used / registered and email address that its monitored rather than some random bigboy2011@hotmail or gmail address
Still, there should be enough action on the email to get his attention soon, this is 3 and i assume you'll respond to make it 4 in 48 hrs Altox GSM FBH controller thread
