Need new rear bulbs? not sure what bulbs and no handbook?
Don't know how many have noticed but if you need to replace some bulbs in the rear lamps, your not sure which bulbs you need and don't have access to your handbook ( eg side of the road ) there is a solution.
Remove the rear light units and have a look near which ever light has blown as the actual required bulb code eg P21/5W for double filament, is printed in the rear lamp unit casting (note you may need to wide away some dirt to see it but it is there.

I always carry spare bulbs in the glovebox (legal requirement in most of Europe) but can never remember what goes where !I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

It is, but I'm sure we've all been caught out with similar thing before or have only recently bought a vehicle. I fell into that category yesterday when the dash light lit up like a christmas tree and lowered the suspension at speed all due to a blow reverse light bulb... you've got to love British cars haven't you.

They may have been replaced with LED bulbs, a popular and worthwhile modification.
If they haven’t, I’d recommend doing so. Again, Steve at AF will sort you out with the ones you need. The improvement with LED reversing bulbs is most noticeable. 👍2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
