New addition...
Picked up my 'new' Discovery 3 HSE last night and I'm just posting to the group to say hello - I'm so glad that such an excellent resource exists for Discovery 3 owners - Thank You disco3.co.uk!
We needed a bigger car due to a new addition to the family and I found this car via autotrader at an independent dealer, it's on a 55 plate, it's Zambesi Silver and I love it! Drove it the 50-odd mile journey back home and it behaved very well - I've read some horrific owner reviews of Discovery 3s on the What Car website, but (touch wood) mine seems to be fine so far...
Now I've got some reading to do to suss out how all the buttons work
Cheers

Welcome aboard. Now you just need to pop to the shop (top of the page) and get some Disco3.co.uk stickers to spread the word
And nice car. Not sure about the colour though..... I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I refrained from commenting on teh colour! Still it could be worse, it could have been Java!
Sorry Tomo, in case you aren't in the know, we're so chuffed with our cars we never argue about them, For a bit of variety we have to have arguments about which colour is best instead. Obviously the answer is blue, but some people can't be told......I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

And some mud, then colour is less important. Here's D3Matt showing what silver & mud looks like together.

hehe, I plan on getting it muddy this weekend
...as for the colour, well I wouldn't usually go for silver a silver car, but I just think that the D3 looks so much nicer in silver - it matches those distictive headlights and contrasts nicely with black trim - it is the most aesthetically pleasing colour for me - but this is just my £0.02, each to their own and all that!
