Update - issue resolved
Four days and some 30+ trips, long and short, and I have not had one suspension fault (or any other fault) flagged.
So it appears that my initial flashing of the ECU when I changed to the AMK compressor didn't work - thanks GoBeyond for this tip, it saved me a great deal of money and hassle in sending my compressor back to the UK from Australia.
I just wish I had dealt with this earlier. Better late than never 2007 Land Rover LR3 4.0L V6

This place never ceases to amaze me, thank you so much
Having been all set to start my own thread asking for help with a compressor fault (C1A13-64) and a Terrain Response issue (U0421-68), I found this!
Initially I wondered whether there were still faulty AMK compressors about, however, I then spotted the software bit and discovered when my compressor was changed (on a D4) a few weeks ago they must have told it a Hitachi one had been fitted It does have an AMK, as I have been underneath and used my limited mechanical skills to remove the cover and check.
Whilst I am not counting my chickens just yet, as it still sounds very noisy, it does at least seem to be working. Which is lucky as we are currently in the Brecon Beacons for a week and a failed battery the night before leaving means my Land Rover isn’t too popular just now, especially as my wife is having to drive for the foreseeable future and she hates it.Andy
