With a brush fault, possibly the compressor motor getting hot. Is it under warranty. Does the code come back after clearing it? I have heard of this previously and it was to do with the relay and fuse in the engine compartment - they where both changed to 70 amps. Battery and charging system needs to be up to scratch as well.

the compressor has 2 temp sensors. THey are thin wires.

MEasure the resistance of the old and new compressor sensors

If they are the same, probably a fault with cars wiring.

If one is different, see if you can swap it, or temperately connect it to prove the problem

As soon as I clear the fault it comes back straight away,The fault comes on before you start the engine Shocked Under warranty and should be getting a new compressor mid week. The compressor works in all the modes ,The old one would be normal height only.

I've had this problem; it ended up being the wiring near the ECU, compressor itself was OK

Ade,Where by is the Ecu? Got a new compressor coming under warranty,I’ll get that on and if the warning comes back on I’ll start looking. What wires are under the front passenger wheel arch ? Cheers
