New D3 Owner

Hi Everyone,
I have been reading the forum for a while and finally took the plunge and bought a D3. Much to the relief of my wife, she was getting bored about me talking about it, but

Have had it for a week now and we both love it... Very Happy Very Happy

Have found some very useful info on here, especially with iPhone 4 issues, so far mine pairs everytime, but no phone book so will have to look at updating the bluetooth module.

That is it for now, just wanted to say hello and thank you for all the info on the site. Very helpful.

Haha, I remember that bit, going to the shop for milk, then back again for bread, then a third trip for butter!

Hi Geoff,
Just read your PM but could not reply (not enough posts yet).
I did use the code 2121 for the initial pairing, since then not needed to re-enter the code.

Thanks

Hello all.... I've been using my iPhone 4 as well in my first 3 weeks of D3 ownership. Mine being an old Nov04 TDV6 HSE maybe mine's different but I first paired mine with a 0000 code but have stopped using it as it's a pain having to keep pairing it every time I get in it.

I haven't a clue how or if this phone book lark is possible or what it does.

If someone has a tip to keep it paired so it always hooks up then it'll make my day!

Welcome Swoodley by the way.

You'll find this forum invaluable and the guys (maybe some girls!) generous and helpful with thier experienced advice. Only tip is, don't search too much or too deeply otherwise you can start to wonder if you've bought a lemon!... Wink it's like googling about little pain in your chest and then finding you have 5 termimal illnesses and 3 weeks to live Laughing

But as said, all good. Still loving my old D3 as well.
