Yay, finially found what think and hope is the disco 3 for me. Picked it up yesterday and already covered over 100 miles in her, some in the snow. It's weird driving it in snow mode, but I guess it's doing it things to stop the wheels spinning
I've got a manual 05 se with 65000 miles and fully services by LR ahead of schedule - all recal works been done and the hand brake. She Buckingham blue with alpaca leather all the gadgets.
Bad points when I picked it up yesterday some of the wind screen heated elements weren't working fully and there also seems to be a issue with the reversing sensors not always work (neither a massive problem plus a haggled more money off)
Bonus part though, found the detachable tow in the rear pocket along with twin electrics that the Customer didn't know was there (£500 saved)
All in all very happy
Might look for some all terrain tyres for light off roading, any suggestions ?

There is a vertical strip up the centre of the windscreen that isn't heated, about 2 cm wide. Was it this bit? Disco 5 HSE Lux

over time some of the elements in the windscreen can fail. mines 6 years old and has a number of non functional elements. had the same on my Fords in the past..
if the majority of the elements have failed..... accidently drop something on the window and get a new one fited Duncan

Get some Pirelli ATR's for all round use, not just offroading. Last a lot longer than the Scorpions often fitted Mark.
