I was at LRE Snowdonia yesterday and they told me it will be up-and-running from next weekend - think it's going to be an extension of Snowdonia (well Bala) so I would guess bookings will be taken from there. I'll ask about hiring it - excellent idea - as you know, it's very accessible from most M-ways and A-roads and some good pubs and camping / caravanning sites too (for the travellers).

Like Pale Hall at the Snowdonia site, they'll be using Peckforton Castle as the reception before taking you to the off-roading site for the fun part.

I believe the site is 'natural' and like Bala and not too manufactured . Bala seems to have had a re-vamp too - they have two Forrest areas now, although one was closed yesterday for Off Road Magazine's Group test (and the winner is - well you'll have to buy the magazine).

As and aside, saw first 07 RR Full Fat with the new TDV8 - it was on an 54 plate and was being tested at Bala - in disguise of course. Apparently......... very n i c e 8) 8) 8)
