errrr... you sure? Confused tried it with mine (by mistake Embarassed ) t'other day and I got a message on the display saying press brake or clutch pedal to release parkbrake

The handbrake automatically releases when in any drive gear (auto) if you apply power. It's so you can do a hill start without all the faffing....works lovely !

When in Neutral and Park you have to apply the footbrake before it will release.

Should do the same in a manual when you raise the clutch and apply power surely ??

BTW It does not always automatically release when in any drive gear when power is applied. This will usually occur when you are about to descend a very steep slippy incline. Embarassed
