Had my D3 for about 3 months and 3k miles. Ever since new there has been a ‘clunk’ from the rear of the car when re-applying throttle after, e.g., slowing down in traffic. I.e. torque reversal. Also noticeable if brakes are applied sharply.
After three visits to the dealer I’ve been informed that a new rear diff is required. This will fitted early next week.
I’m not the only one, was told they’re fixing another one with the same problem.
Has to apply pressure to get fast fix and courtesy car.
Great car but not best impressed.
