Contacted Nick Lee at Yeovil LR to buy a new sat nag DVD for my 07 HSE and it arrived next day - that's service! Thanks Nick if you read this.
Only problem is I can't install it! From following the thread on this I thought it would be easy but the cd tray opens forwards onto a metal bracket that runs across the front of the cd changer (after removing the plastic cover under the passenger front seat squab). The unit is held in by fixings on the sides that my big paws cant get to.
Any one know how to sort this one? Do I have to take the seat out?

i think move the seat as far forward and as far up as possible. Never had to take the seat out

The trick that worked for me is put the driversseat high and completely forwardRoel

Ordered mine on Thursday evening as I am leaving on Tuesday to take the missus and kids on the annual summer pilgrimage to The Czech Republic and as I have a gadget habit absolutely definitely needed the new DVD!
It arrived by First Class post Saturday morning, it's been said before, and no doubt it will be said again, Top Man Nick!
Lifted the seat up and forward, DVD swapped, jobs a goodun. I now have the original one it came with in March 8, the pair I bought last year for all of Europe and the new one

Thanks for the advice fellas, but the dvd unit drawer faces forwards so raising the seat and pushing it forward gives me a good view of the back of the box but doesn't allow me to eject the dvd. Maybe mine has been installed back-to-front?

Ahh! With seat fully forwards I couldn't get my fat head into the footwell but I managed to do it by 'feel'! Big thank you for being so understanding of a 'plonker'as I should have thought about it more..
As an aside, been camping at the Game Fair this weekend - my pal slept in the back of the car while my wife and I had the tent - he said it was warm, very comfy and quiet - a rare thing for a campsite.
Great website by the way.

I sleep in my car sometimes too. If you lie with your head to the front you have to make sure that the gap between the rear seats and the loadspace coverage is between your hips and shoulders otherwise it hurts after a while.Roel
