Are you Scottish?

Iain was right, the Autoglass warrenty man checked out the screen, and he was'nt too pleased with the fitter. My invoice stated he used new clips, but he did'nt. Also on removal of the N/S trim the bottom part which goes over the clip was broken by the fitter forcing it.
So now leak free, well the N/S is, no leaks from the O/S yet , but thats good enough as the RAI is there.
Cheers TFC

[quote="10forcash"]Could be leaking from where the A pillar trim clips go into the A pillar, LR say new clips every time the trim is removed
Thats exactly what happened to me, it took the dealer 5 attempts to find the leak from the sunroof, but eventually found it to be the A pillar trim clips, glad you got it sorted

It was fitted at our favourite Kent dealership by Autoglass under warrenty. In fairness to Barretts, they ordered in trims and clips for me, but the screen fitter said it's included with OEM screen and he had used them. Liar, he destroyed the trim mounts and used copious amounts of mastic. He was from Autoglas Ashford, their eastbourne branch sorted it for me.
