Hi Guys (and Gals),
Just got my own D3 (55 plate HSE) today It's taken me 2 years and 2 Sorento's but finally got there and luvin' it
It's early days I know, so many things to check, test and play with but I already have a few questions that I hope someone will be able to answer.
1. One of the key fobs doesn't work - presumably this could just be a flat battery and will recharge via the ignition ??
2. The SatNav appears to have a TV function but although I press all the buttons and make the appropriate selections for Country, PAL settings etc, nothing appears on screen. It has a VEBA DVD fitted (badly) in the glove compartment.
3. Is it possible fit a reversing camera and have it displayed on the SatNav screen ?
4. Does the car have Bluetooth - it seems to be set up for a phone but not sure how to go about it.
5. Previous owner did not provide the retractable load space cover - any ideas on a good source ?
Running down to the IoW tomorrow so will be able to give it a good trip.

Firstly, WELCOME to the mad house (forum) and congrats on your aquisition, glad you're loving it
You will learn much from many wise folk in here, and if your able to do your own DIY repairs and servicng, you will save much £'s as well.
1, could be battery, or maybe it's a spare that hasn't been programmed to the vehicle (you'll need access to the LR diagnostic kit to check - or know someone who can (there's a few in here)
2, You need to chat to 'Wiggs' in here, he is the guru on TV and sat nav things
3, Yes - again chat to Wiggs.
4, The HSE should have telephone integration fitted, controls on the steering wheel are the give away, switch on the ign, and search with your phone to see if it finds it (it's in the handbook, assuming they are with the car) the pairing code is 2121
5, LR dealer (if your rich), ebay, or try the For Sale/Wanted section in here.
It's quite a good idea to see if there is a 'local' group near you to 'join' and meet up with other D3 owners, you'll learn LOADS that way
Safe journey Never get mad - get even !!
06 D3 now gone to family member and still going strong at 265k
previous vehicles:
04 D2 TD5 - (clocked 189k from new)
52 X-Trail 2.2 SVE
various euro boxes !
