Im trying to retro fit front fog lights in my bumper but my local stealer has quoted me almost £600+vat which i think is hellish expensive granted I need everything, switch, loom and lamps but surely as I would be buying it all together you think he would offer a discount "Nah we don do fings like tha sir".
Is there any other way of getting all this kit together, as a bulk buy and cheaper or is my local Stealer being a pleb??
Any help is appreciated thanks in advance guys n girls?.

And TheLargeOne on here DOES do a discount on the LR kit.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.
Where in Wales you located fella - can help you out me thinks.........

Before you go buying the loom, make sure you have the connectors for the fogs - I have a 08 Disco3 and made the schoolboy error of buying the loom and then finding out that post 08 D3s either come factory fitted or not at all
Thankfully, my local Indy (Adigorn on the forum here) fitted them and wired the all up bespoke style, and you honestly wouldn't know he was near the Disco, have the new switch in the cabin for the fogs and everything - top job altogether
"Before you go buying the loom, make sure you have the connectors for the fogs"
Not sure I know what you mean, if I bought the loom and the fogs all connectors would come with it or do you mean the connectors at the back of the headlight that go to the headlight switch in the dash??
Depending on the year and spec of your D3 you may already have the multiplug behind the O/S headlight to plug the loom from the fog lights into which will then connect it direct into the vehicles electrics with no further work being required on the vehicle wiring. Chances are if you already have this then they will work straight away once connected.
As Daveyd says his 08 D3 did not have this multiplug so to get the fogs wired into the vehicle electrics required additional work and wiring beyond the loom that connects the two fog lights together to get them connected to the vehicles electrics.
As you are local to me give me a shout and I can get you heading in the right direction on this ......

concur with simoniz the loom just connects the two fogs and then plugs into the connector behind the Drivers side Headlamp - plugn play, easy peasy - but which I didn't have
Thanks Gents excellent bit of info, little worried though if daveyd didnt have the connector on an 08 mines an 05 so itll be a nice surprise if it has. Time to get under the bonnet today I think and have a looksy.
Thanks again Guys

I reckon you'll be ok, as far as I know most pre-08s have them, post-08s dont
Just pop out the drivers Headlamp, you'll know straight away

There are (possibly) two connectors present, one for the Front fog lights in front of the bigger one for the PDC sensors.
Both can be seen in the background of this picture

Coola Boola and yeah, the mod bug is a hard one to shake off
And if you just tell Nick what you plan on doing, he'll know exactly what you need.
Good luck,
Dave

I have just had all the parts deliverd by TLO yesterday morning to add the fogs to my 08 GS model. Just under £218 including postage to Scotland....
Required bits were lamps, bezels, loom ( PDC version as mine are already fitted) switch and fixings...if you dont have PDC then the loom is £20 cheaper.
Having read this thread I have just rushed outside to check I had the required plugs and ......... Yes two present. Might have something to do with the fact I had PDC fitted from factory... ( not my car then ).
Will be fitting the lamps this weekend so will let you know how I get on...
