Newby with gearbox issue

Hi all

New to the Disco 3 just picked up a bit of a project vehicle usual handbrake issue, main issue is no 5th or 6th gears on manual box, feels like the are selecting but not engaged and can select when stood with no clutch depressed, has anyone come across this issue before I search for a gearbox
