Glad it helped some of us. Got an Ebay alert today and know there's been some interest in this particular make on the forum.

It's a third off and they look to be selling quite well and limited in stock.

Tempted to get one and use my current dashcam, an E-Prance A2S60, for the rear. VR6 > 330D Touring > D3 HSE > !?XC90?!

That rearcam on the 512GW might be best avoided for the moment. Connecting the rear camera drops the front one to 1080p from 1440, which isn’t ideal when trying to get those number plates at night. The bigger issue has been an impact of the quality when both cameras are connected, there is a topic on the dashcam forum about it. Nextbase have issued a couple firmware patches, but it isn’t clear if the issue has been resolved. The issue seems to be the processor in the 512 just can’t cope with two feeds. Might be better to wait for the next generation, buy the Blackvue alternative or put a seperate dashcam on the rear.
