Well done. We already have a farm membership, so was no drama to get the certificate. Very quick and simple.

I know - was told that if join now would have membership to end Oct at part year cost of around £100 including VAT so not worthwhile - he's signing us up from 1 November at cost of £162 + VAT

Think probably due to father in law at same location - we've got a discount on the car insurance through linking our cars and the in laws now

Telephoned NFU on Friday to discuss becoming a member. Told me a representative would ring me early next week. They would either discuss over phone or come and have a look at my small holding...... Do you think I will get away showing them my allotment? Embarassed

How easy to get 'Farmer Grower' membership is it with the NFU and how much ?

We do have a small holding of about 3rd of an acre do you think we would qualify for the discount on a new D4 ? Embarassed

have alook on the NFU web site, they give detaiels of min area of land and usage. we joined the Scottish NFU, and ony got in as we own land in england.
.33 of an acre is a little small, so you may want to add a little growth material when you ring them!
 Cheers

not in the slightist. the other option is to go out and guy 20 acres of land, but i think that would defeat the purpose then.
