Nice work, congrats!

I stuck my head under the bonnet before and realised my lights are actually halogens..

So what did he have to do to get it working? how much did he charge? (I've been searching eBay already!)

btw, did you use a filter on your pic? the cars here have a very white looking DRL, yours appears more amber?

Luke, it needs a change making to the vehicle's CCF (car configuration file), to tell it that it has the BiXenons instead of halogens.

It can be done with an IIDTOOL or Faultmate.

That's great, you must be happy!

I'm really surprised by the auto dip for the DRL working, does the DRL stay on at night or turn off once the main beam comes on?

Great news - look great - I always thought the 2015 lights needed a new front bumper too but are you saying yours fitted without any changes or cuts to the bumper (just very snug)?

If its new lights and 2015 grille for job done then i'm very tempted to get this done Thumbs Up

Righty ho to answer:

DLR only work as sidelights if that makes sense. I have no "auto" setting on light switch just off /sidelights/on

Dip and main work as normal once activated

The 2015 lights and grill worked/ with fitted a 2011 bumper.

Hi Etuna

Thought i'd check in with you and see how the new lights are going?

Did you say the following:

1) DRL are wired like the sidelights, i.e. they come on when you manually select side lights?

2) If i have my car on auto lights (as I always do) do they come on or do you need to choose side lights each time you get in and out of the car for them to turn on/off?

3) If they do come on with auto, do they stay on when it gets dark and the main beam auto turns on or do they go off when the main beam comes on?

ps. how much was your front end package and where from? I'm looking for the grill and lights.

thanks, Luke

Ah makes sense..

That's where I was getting confused earlier, I was surprised they worked so easily (I was assuming you were running auto lights) because the DRL is too bright to run at night so it would need to either dim or turn off when the main beam came on which generally requires some manual rewiring.

I think it's still very possible but certainly harder..

Does your DRL dim when you indicate left or right?
