no high-low range

Hi, has anybody got any ideas what this means-system fault special programs not available-the terrain response switch does not light up to which mode you are in nor does the low to high range switch light up.Resulting in cannot switch to low range or change the terrain mode. When plugged into a scanner fault codes are P1808(high range short to ground.) P1811(low rang short to ground).
Has anyone had any simuliar problems?

Sounds the the terrain response switch pack/module has gone faulty. Have you spilled any liquids on it or had it valeted lately?

Its possible to strip the unit down and carefully clean the switch contacts although i dont think a new one is too expensive.

Possible corrosion in the TBox ECU, sat behind the battery.
