No Ring Tone

Since owning my first D4 and pairing my IPhone to it I never get ringing through the speakers when there is an incoming call just the persons name appearing on the centre display, consequently i have missed a few calls when I have not noticed a call coming in on the display.
Has a previous owner done something to switch the phone ring off in the car? Big Cry

Mine does not ring via the vehicle speakers if my phone is set to silent (or vibrate) on the handset itself, you only get an incoming call pop-up on the central screen

Checked all the above and all boxes ticked. All my other cars I have owned it never mattered weather you handset was on silent or not the car speakers always rang. Have to admit phone is sometimes on silent and as the D4 is only occasional use at weekends I'm not in it much so it may have been that it had always been on silent. Will have a play when I get home from work.

Also check the ringer volume on the phone is turned up, my phone is on silent and rings in the vehicle but if i have turned the ringing volume down on the phone itself it does not ring through the car.

That's useful to know. Always wondered how to adjust volume for Satnav and phone. Thumbs Up
