No sound saga

An ongoing saga, but I've got more involved thanks to lockdown!

Symptoms: no sound at all used to be intermittent accompanied by a 'Phone removed' message, everything on stereo works except for volume control, now permanent loss of sound.

Sat Nav works (but no talking lady), no sound when headphones plugged into rear jacks. I've looped out most of the modules but stll no sound.

When I disconnected the amp under the seat this afternoon the light in the MOST circuit was flashing, but after two seconds of being disconnected went solid - when I plugged my 'loop' in, it went back to flashing and 'Phone removed' appeared once more on the screen. Guessing a fault further up the line?

Entered the secret menu and presented with this:

Beginning to feel like I'm chasing my tale a bit - could I have multiple failed modules?

Any guidance appreciated!

Pull the unit out the dash and remove the optical lead. Turn ignition on and off then reconnect to. I tried every fix suggestion known to man before that fixed mine. No idea why it di but I had all the interior panels out the rear looking for phone modules et al. ...

when you pulled the MOST connector out of the amp where was the light flashing from, the amp or the cable, if you pull the cable there should be a light from both the cable and the amp one in one out.
cheers Steve

Hi Steve, the light was flashing from the cable, which then turned to a solid light after a couple of seconds, also went back to flashing when I plugged my loop in. Cheers Thumbs Up
