Took into garage..software download did nowt...told to check audio connections and door connx...let you know if I get to the bottom of this...largsbear

btw does anyone know which cable is the audio out from the stereo to amp and finally does anyoe know how to take the door cards off...its going to be a busy day for me tomorrow. TDv6 S 7 seat

Also my first problem. Base stereo on but no sound, volume control not working. Resets when ignition switched off.
However, on 2 occasions, stereo would not switch off or power down after key removed from iginition. First time I removed the fuse and it reset. Unfortunatly, the second time it happed to my wife while I was away skiiing and it ran the battery down overnight. AA kindly helped. Had to happen while I was away!
Off for first service tommorrow and have requested new head unit and the nosiy wiper fix/replacement.
I also have the LEDS fittted to rear brake lights and hope that it is not affecting stereo issue? 2007 S+ or LE
just arrived 2013 XE seater

hi, removed the stereo to check plugs. Can someone PLs tell me what the speaker wires are and what the orange c
fibre cables go and do TDv6 S 7 seat

I have checked the fibre cables and there is light output from the stereo and from the amp. Would you think this would suggest that the amp and ihu are ok?

replaced the ihu..same working but no vol..so if anyone is looking for a ihu pm me.... Shocked TDv6 S 7 seat

How spooky is this, that same thing happened to me yesterday. the wife had been driving and I blamed her for damaging my car.

I had to reset by letting the car go to sleep before it would work again.


Still going to blame Mrs JKP though Rolling with laughter

how to you get the car to go to sleep...i removed the key and left it 10 mins..is this correct TDv6 S 7 seat

Yip, turn off, lock up and walk away. I left mine for about 30 minutes while I remonstrated with Renault service centre about why they had put the wifes car throught their car wash when being serviced, damaging the ariel and swirling the paint Censored Evil or Very Mad

The outcome of that is I will get the car detailed and machine corrected and send the bill to them for re-imbursement Whistle Whistle
