Noisey suspension
Hi all
Not posted for a while as all has been ok ..............😱
The front suspension on the disco 3 has become more and more noisey of late, also I think it’s a harder ride as well, there isn’t any play in any of the suspension joints/bushes so I’m thinking could it be that the air bags/units are worn and noisey? It’s a clunking type noise when on a rough road, nothing when you go over a big undulating road bump (so makes the suspension move)
I had similar (not as noisey) on a RRS a few years back and that was because it didn’t have the harmonic dampers on the front (big blocks on metal), my disco also doesn’t have them, don’t know if it should though? I fitted onto the RRS and all was quiet again, it wasn’t a hard ride though. If it is the units themselves roughly how much to change them?
Cheers
Graham

It’s not anti roll bar bushes or the steering joints, these have been checke, I’ve also had new top arms, the car drives really well it’s just noisey and now a bit hard riding
