Noisy backend
Rear drivers side suspension is creaking, I think I have traced it to the lower shock mount.
The noisy is a loud creaking as the suspension moves, very anoying and embarassing as you drive along
I think it could be a dry mount/bush. How do I get rid of it? Its not a replacement job, is it?
How does it dry out?
WD40 to creep in, or strip and copper grease?

Are you sure that it isn't the two wedges on each side of the upper tailgate. I had a sinilar problem with mine and couldn't believe that a bit of grease there stopped a noise which I would have guaranteed came from the suspension over slow bumps.
The wedges have been modified on the latest model D3 and can apparently be retrofitted to the older ones, however I am happy with a bit of grease..

mines started doing the same in the last week or so.
TFC identified worn rear suspension bushes about 3 weeks ago - it would seem they fail quickly once they start Duncan

I've had this trouble in my last D3 after major articulation in the elephant steps at Boughrood ...creaked like an old bedstead for months after. Turned out to be twisted bushes or something to that effect ...they were replaced under warranty.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Nearly got through this week without finding anything else wrong with the D3 - now rear bushes,
I wonder if Tesco covers it.

Could be your rear lower suspension arm ball joint too. Mine is making the old bed creaking noise... Shukers have a name for it... "Range Rover Disease"
Must be common on the flag ship then

Bushes have always been replaced on my D3's FOC while under warranty, same as ball joints and all over suspension / steering components.
i'd better go and have a read of my warranty, theres all-ways hope !
