Noisy rumble on accelerating diffs?

Have not posted much on here, but just a little info on my issues with 'Goldie' I had a rumble noise from the front on accelerating and would stop on overrun, I check the wheel bearings they had not play. the noise stayed even turn left of right (which normally indicates wheel bearings). drained front diff oil to find slithers of taper roller bearing metal. SO decided to order a recon diff from e***y, fitted it and replace inner CV boot as well. Then found the noise WAS STILL THERE Censored Censored Censored . So checked rear diff oil, well to say it was brown and disgusting was an understatement and found lots of filings, and I mean lots. fitted a new rear diff and noise has GONE Rolling Eyes . so the moral of the story is check your oils fits and don't be distracted by transmission of noises. P.S. change transfer box oil and this was fine. Also changed Auto box oil and pan as a precaution Shocked , much soother gearbox now Rolling Eyes
